18 Months, Jackson Doing Great

18 months ago, Jackson got hurt in our yard playing. Today, it would be hard to tell. He had some plastic surgery this past week. When his hair grows-out, the visible scars will be gone. This video was one of the first things he reacted to after waking-up from his weeks-long coma. All he could do was make a soft grunt. He had not eye or face expressions- just a grunt. Heather called it a laugh. I wasn't so sure. We showed him this video over and over and every now and then he would grunt. The video is about 8 years old and it is Jake and Jackson mocking the Chef from TV. It makes me laugh every time.

Thanks again for all the love, support and prayers during a very difficult time. Merry Christmas from Lemon Island and the Ingram Crew.

Felling Great

Summer

Summer is out baby! Now we have more family time to spend together and we are all excited! We get to spend more time with our friends they get to come over to our house and we get to go over to there house’s. And I would like to give a shout out to Tanner Caldwell and his family for being so awesome and getting to know them. I would also like to say Sammy grey’s name my friend. Yesterday my homebound teacher Heather came to our house for the last time and she brought us some squirt guns to play with we are going to miss her coming to our house. Last night my sister’s friends came over to play with us and we watched movies and played around and had a good time. Soon were going to Aiken sc to see our great uncle and he owns his own gas and oil company’s and he has a helicopter and airplanes and we are going to fly with him. Thank you love Jackson.

Building a Man Cave

I’ve been doing a lot lately. First, we were working on our Man cave. Trevor, my Dad, and I dug out a trench for the wall, we laid out the cement yesterday then we’re going to build the walls. We’re also going to the airbase with a F/A-18 Hornet pilot soon. My sister, Emalie, came home from college last week and she will be here for the entire summer!

Spring in the Lowcountry

Spring is here at last! On March 9th my little brother Trevor (my best friend and wing man) turned 9. We celebrated by going to the lollypop shop in Beaufort and we played at the park and we ate tons of shrimp at home. I shot my first wild turkey three weeks ago with my Uncle Ed in Jasper County. It was a huge gobbler. This past week, I went to the Old Sheldon Church with my Daddy and we each took some pictures. Last the Boy Scouts camped here at Lemon Island. We had a great time roasting marshmellows and bacon.

Birthday Boys

So I haven’t had time and I haven’t had anything going on for a while to type about that was exciting, but now I have a few things to talk about. I’ve gone to the eye doctor and I found out I’m getting glasses. My mom said I can be the GQ model and Trevor, my eight year old brother, is going to be the scientist. My physical therapists have said that they have nothing that I can’t do.
My birthday was on Sunday (I ate monkey bread) my older brother, Jake, turned 15 today (we ate shrimp). I got four WW2 movies and the star in all the 4 movies is Clint Eastwood! This picture is from Christmas when Emalie was home.
